RECEPTION OF MINISTERIAL

PARTY.

Ax executive meeting of the Cook County Liberal Association was held last night, Mr E. P. Joyce (President) being in the chair. It was resolved that in honor of the visit the Postmaster-Genoral, Hon. J. G. Ward, be asked to have a town clock provided for the new post office. Tho President (Mr Joyce), and Messrs Dickson and Birrcll wore appointed a deputation to interview Mr Ward on tho subject.

The members of the Liberal Association are to meet tho Ministers on their arrival at the wharf, and extend the visitors a welcome on behalf of tho Association.
