The twenty-sixth annual meeting of the Gas Company shows a balance to profit and loss of £3187. A dividend for the year of 8 per cent, was declared. The directors announced that they had ordered another gas holder, to cost £4OOO, of which £3OOO mnst bo borrowed. At the beginning of the year the price of gas was reduced to 7s 6d net.
