Presbyterian Assembly.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, last night. The Presbyterian General Assembly mot this morning. A deputation of the Synod of Otago and Southland, and ministers and elders sitting for the first time, were welcomed by the Moderator. A private conference of ministers and elders was called for this afternoon. The report of the Church Property Board was read and adopted, with thanks to members and the Chairman. It was agreed that clergy be appointed to the Assembly, but that the minister be associated with the clerk from year to year.
