The Lord Mayor, on behalf of tho citizons, thanking tho Kaiser, said his devotion to the Royal Family and kindness to the people and citizons, would never he forgotten. Tho Kaiser, replying in warm, simplo terms, emphasised his closo attachment to the late Queen. lie could not but coino, ho added. He said that lie was deeply impressed with Saturday’s marvellous spectacle.

Tho leave-taking of the King was most affectionate.

The Kaiser received Imperial honors at Port Vicoria. The warships at Slieorness saluted the German Imperial yacht as it passed.
