The Hatuma Flock.
LARGEST SHEEP SALE EVER HELD IN HAWKE’S BAY.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Napier, last night. The largest sale of sheep ever held in Hawke’s Bay took place to-day, when nearly 40,000 sheep, represent'ng the Hatuma flock, were offered in lots from 1000 to 3000. Buyers were present from Canterbury and all parts of the North Island, materially stimulating the bidding. The average all round was about twelve shillings.
