At the wool-sales thcro was a fair competition, with a hardening tendency. Tho sales close on the 9th. Longburn fetched 6id. Butter is firm in price, and in good demand. Colonial is unchanged. Danish is unchanged, -but recovering. The cheeso market is fiat; Now Zealand, 52s to 58s.
