SUPREME LORD OF THE TRANSVAAL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Capetown, January 29. King Edward was proclaimed with the usual titles at Pretoria, and also as Supreme Lord of the Transvaal. Tho proclamation was received with hearty cbeoring. KING EDWARD TO OPEN PARLIAMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received Jan. 31, 1 a.m. London, Jan, 29. The King at Osborne, with much ceremony, invosted the Crown Princo of Prussia with the Order of the Garter. The Times and Daily News state that King Edward will open Parliament in person. The Kaiser has appointed King Edward chiof of tho First Dragoons, like the lato Queen.
