The Eastern Extension Cable Com" pany’s Recorder has arrived to effect repairs to the cable between New Zealand and Australia. The fault exists about 400 miles off the New Zealand coast. The vessel will also ship the Australian, end of the cable to the new stations recently orectod at La Perousc. Owing to the interruption in the Singapore cables some alteration in the vessel’s instructions may take place, as the company’s other repairing steamer, Slierrard Osborne, is at Hong Kong.
