OPINIONS AS TO FISCAL TARIFF. J3y Telegraph— Proas Association—Copyright. Melbourne, Jan. 18. Mr Isaac has intimated that ho will decide on Monday whother he will accept the Stato Premiership or onter the Federal Parliament. The Ago states that the Hon. Mr Barton’s -policy is staunch, with a strong note of liberalism, and a sound one of protection. The Argus characterises the reference to the tariff as one of indefinite phrases, and concludes that the tariff will be ono of moderate protection.
