Messrs Wyllie and Mason hold their monthly stock sale at the Waerenga-a-hika yards today, when some first-class lots will be offered. The monthly stock sale by Messrs Common, Shelton, and Co., at the Waerenga-a-hika yards, takes place to-day.
To-morrow, at the Matawhero yards, at 11.30, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co. will offer a fine lot of cattle, sheep, and pigs, as well as a number of agricultural implements. The pigs to be sold are prize Berkshire stock, on account of Mr E. Habgood. Another important entry is a score of two-tooth Leicester rams, bred by Mr E. W. Foreman. Mr J. W. Bright will sell on behalf of the company.
Our readers are reminded of Messrs Williams and Kettle’s sale of stock at the Matawhero yards to-morrow, for which a splendid entry has been reaeived, including 1200 sheep and 200 head of cattle ; and on account of Mr A. McKenzie, twelve four-tooth Lincoln rams. The sale starts at 11.30, Mr A. F. Kennedy officiating as auctioneer.
