SALMON OVA.

Auckland, last night.
A shipment of half a million salmon ova arrived by the ’Frisco mail steamer, to the order of the New Zealand Government, and in charge of the superintendent of the Baird salmon hatchery, California. The ova appears to be in good condition. The inspector of fisheries took charge of the shipment, which will be sent to the Government hatchery in Canterbury.
