DROWNING ACCIDENT.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, yesterday. William Batson, a young man employed at Messrs Sargoocl, Son, aud Ewen, and a member of the Dunedin Amateur Boating Club, was drowned on Saturday evening. He was bathing in front of the boatshed when he was presumably seized with cramp. The body was recovered, but life was extinct.
