NEW DAKOTA SERVICE

NATIONAL AIRWAYS PLANS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 28. The R.N.Z.A.F. inter-island Dakota service next Monday will come to an end and National Airways Corporation will take up the running with the same type of aircraft with transverse seating instead of fore-and-aft bucket seats.. The first conversions are not complete, but those to follow will be up to full civil standard with sound proofing and other extras. For a commencement the trunk service under the corporation’s control will be of four flights a day. One flight each way between Auckland and Christchurch will be non-stop, and one up and down plane will call at Paraparaurnu.
