PROPOSED AERODROME
LAND NEAR WHAKATANE At a meeting of the Whakatane Borough and County Councils, Chamber of Commerce and Aero and Gliding Club the proposal to establish an aerodrome for the district was discussed. An area of Crown land near the Whakatane golf links has been suggested as the site. The meeting agreed to submit to the Government, through Mr. W. Sullivan. M.P., plans for the proposed aerodrome.
