PHILIPPINES CRASH

HIGH OFFICIALS ABOARD PLANE WRECKAGE SEEN MANILA, May 26. The burned wreckage of President Roxas’ personal plane, missing since May 18 with four high Philippine officials aboard, was sighted on a wooded mountain in central Mindanao in an area inhabited by tribes of wild Moros. Search pilots who identified the aircraft saw no sign of life, but dropped food and medical supplies to aid any survivors.
