BRAWL IN TOKYO
8.C.0.F. TROOPS INVOLVED (10.30 a.m.) TOKYO. May 26. The majority of the British Commonwealth troops involved in a brawl in the Union Jack Club on Sunday night were released, shortly after the incident, but the ringleaders are still in custody for disciplinary action. The British military authorities in Tokyo decline to discuss the matter, which they regard as a carry-over from the Empire Day celebrations.
