If the East Coast Union approved the latter date. Poverty Bay would be prepaied to visit the Coast later in the season to play for the Barry Cup. Form in Sub Unions. During a report concerning the visit of the Gisborne representative team to Te Karaka on Saturday, the manager, Mr. W. E. Bullivant, said that the Waikohu officials had been keenly appreciative of the action of the union in arranging the game at a comparatively early stage of the season before work on the farms and stations meant the loss ol players to the sub-union. Mr. Builivant urged that a simiiai policy be followed in the future. The game had been an enjoyable one. contested in the best spirit of Rugby, said Mr. Bullivant. Generous hospitality had been extended to the visitors. ' A further very tavourable impression had been received by the prompt first aid attention given to a player who had to leave the field and the arrangement for immediate transport from the ground to obtain qualified advice. The chairman said that both the Waikohu and Ngatapa sub unions deserved hearty congr i illations on the form shown in Saturday's games, which had given striking evidence of the standard of play being developed and the successful efforts of (hose responsible for fostering the code in the respective districts. On behalf of the Ngatapa sub union. An application for the transfer ol G. Allen to the O'ri Boys club was approved subject to a formal clear a nee from the High School Oid Boys club.
