ROLLINSON’S SUCCESS STEVENS’ GAME FIGHT (P.A.) AUCKLAND. May 27. By one of the most decisive points margins registered here tor many years, Doug Rollinson, New Zealand light-heavyweight boxing champion, defeated the middleweight champion, Roy Stevens in a catch-weight contest. Rollinson scored consistently with hard, fast rights to the head and left and rights to the body, while Stevens appeared to find a counter to his opponent’s tactics. Stevens gave a very game display as lie took a prodigious amount of punishment, and was giving away 91b. in weight. The weights were announced as Rollinson 12st. ,21b. and Stevens list. 71b.
