DEATH IN DUNEDIN
INSPECTOR A. HENDERSON Inspector Angus Henderson, of the Dunedin Central Police, whose death iias occurred, was formerly stationed in Gisborne. He was 58 years of age and had been ailing for some time. Born in Derriedale, Caithness, he came to New Zealand in 1910 and •joined the police force in the following year. He was stationed -at Wellington, Gisborne. Invercargill, Tauranga and was in charge of the Whangarei police station for six years before being transferred to Auckland at the end of 1944. While at Auckland, with the rank of sub-inspector, he was attached to the Central Police Station and was principally a prosecuting officer. He went to Dunedin last year with the rank of inspector. Inspector Henderson is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
