LAMB PRICE UP EIGHTH OF PENNY RISE The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board reports that the lamb schedule in the North Island will be increased by one-eighth of a penny as from Monday, May 26. This increase has been accounted for by an increase in the wool growth. Tiie new schedule will be: —- Lambs. —Prime crossbred. 20 to 301 b., 10Sd per lb.; 57 to 421 b., 421 b., 10',d petlb.: 43 to 50ib.. 9:;d per lo.; 51 to 561 b., 9jd per lb. Prime 'Downs. 20d to 361 b., 10Sd per lb.: 37 to 421 b., lOjd per lb.; 43 to 501 b.. 10d per lb.; 51 to 561 b., 9-jd per lb. All seconds, 20 to 421 b., 9}d per lb.; 43 to 501 b., Sd per lb.; 511 b. and over, as wethers.' Wethers. —Prime, 481 b. and under. 7Jd per lb.: 48 to G4lb., 7.‘,d per lb.; 65 to 901 b., 38s each: seconds, 641 b. and under, Gjd per lb.: 65 to 901 b., 35s 4d each. Ewes.—Prime, 641 b. and under, 4id; 65 to 901 b., 2Gs each.
