WORK ON WANGANELLA

CONCRETE FOR PATCHING ATTEMPT TO FREE DOCK iP.A.) WELLINGTON, May 24. In an attempt to free the floating dock concrete is being used for patching the Wanganella to see whether the ship can be moved without the metal work originally intended. With boilermakers and wqlders still absent from the job in sufficient numbers the makeshift work has been made necessary. There is a possibility of moving the Wanganella from the dock early next week if the measures prove successful.
