DUTCH OFFICIAL’S SON RAILWAY SABOTAGE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 4. The Netherlands Consul-General advises that among the names received by the Netherlands Government in London of numerous "Dutchmen executed by the" Germans in the first half of May is that of M. Charles Olkc van der Plas, a son of Dr. C. H. O. van der Plas, chair-man of the Netherlands Indies Commission for Australia and New Zealand at Melbourne. With fellow students of the old university of Delft, he had taken part in -breaking up railways and committed other acts of sabotage against the German occupation forces, for which he and many of his friends have now paid with their -lives. Dr. van der Plas will be remembered in -New Zealand as the leader of the Netherlands delegation at the Tasman tercentennial celebrations lasi December.
