. FLIGHT POSTPONED VICTIMS OF DISASTER (10 a.m.) LONDON, June 3. It is now learned that the actor, Leslie Howard, was not aboard the air liner which was shot down over the Bay of Biscay. Mr. .Howard had postponed his return to England to be present at the premiere of his film, “The First of the Few," in which he played the part of Mr. R. J. Mitchell, the designer of the Spitfire. Passengers in the missing plane included Mr. Alfred Chaenhall, a director of Omnia Films, and Mr. Stonehouse, director of Reuter’s in Washington and his wife.
