FEROCIOUS FIGHT
MADAGASCAR ADVANCE (2 P.m.) LONDON, Oct. 16. A Vichy communique admits that the British have captured Ambositra, in Madagascar, after being compelled to wage a ferocious fight in which they paid heavily. Only the superiority of the enemy in men and material overcame the French resistance. •
