DROPPED IN FRANCE
ARMS AND EXPLOSIVES RELEASE BY PARACHUTE (1.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 16. The Columbia Broadcasting System reported hearing Vichy broadcast a statement by M. Laval’s Government to-day that arms and explosives had been dropped by parachute in French territory.
