“Singing Helps Social Feeling."
This week’s meeting of the Gisborne Sutcliffe School of Radiant Living, held in Harmony Hall, featured a special song programme to supplement the lecture “Singing Helps the Social Peeling.’’ In this subject an interpretation was given of the life-giving currents flowing through the sympathetic nervous system. As one sings tin* feelings of peace, love and harmony-, shake off fear and despondency. From’ tin founder, Dr. Herbert Sutcliffe, a letter In students, entitled “The Searchlight of Tiutli,’ ’ was deeply appreciated by all present. The president, Mr. G. McKessar, conducted an impressive silence concentration for peace and protection. A new word in our national life “black-outs” was tin subject dealt with in the mental blackouts of fear, doubt and dislike, woven m so many minds, which it was could only be changed to bring the realities all desire, by focussing for thought creations of peace,’ courage nnd faith which could or.lv bring good. “Suppleness builds Grace” will be the next featured, for all those desiring ease, and not disease.
