Education Board’s Visit

Southern- members:of the Hawke’s Bay Education Board arrived at Gisborne last night for the purpose of making inspections of schools in the town and district and to hold a meeting of the board in Gisborne tonight. This morning the members o:' the' board visited the Kaiti, Central Mangapapa and Te Hapara schools and this afternoon attended the Awapuni and Intermediate schools. South ern members of the board present ’an Mr. G. A. Maddison, chairman Messrs. W. Cuthbertson, C. R. Sainsburv. H. S. M. Quigley, T. Rowe Ennor and W. W. Bird. They wert joined bv the local members, Messrs T. A. Coleman, J. O. Musgrave and E H. Baker. Accompanying the board are the secretary, Mr, W: - L; Burnt, and the architect, Mr. L. B. Fleming.
