The following Royal New Zealand Air Force casualties were reported last night:— Leading-Aircraftman Lloyd Desmond Brookbanks, injured in a non-flying accident. His father is Mr. F. C. Brookbanks. Auckland. Sergeant James Douglas Follett, missing, believed killed. His mother is Mrs. D. Follett. Marlon. Sergeant Bryan Joseph Grofski, died of injuries on active service. His father is Mr. J. A. Grofski, Christchurch. Leading-Aircraftman Edward Thomas Hughes, killed oh active service. His mother is Mrs. Hughes, Christchurch. Sergeant Frank Ernest Kearns, missing on air ooerations. .His mother is Mrs. C. Kearns, Wellington. Pilot-Officer Thomas James Albert Long, killed on active service. His father is Mr. R. Long, Clive. Hawke’s Bay. Pilot-Officer Ralph Lonsdale, killed on active service. His uncle is Mr. F. Lonsdale, Lower Hutt. Pilot-Officer John Lowrie, missing, believed killed on active service. His mother' is Mrs. E. S. Lowrie, Petone. Flight-Sergeant Charles Alexander McDonald, seriously injured on active service. His father is Mr. C. McDonald, Woodville. Sergeant Geonre Ernest Reid, missing, believed killed in action. His wife , is Mrs. G. F-. Reid, Dunedin. Pilot-Officer Edward Grey Ruegg, confirmed a prisoner of war. His wife is Mrs. E. G. F.'ueag, Wellington. Flight-Sergeant Keith Forbes Ryan, missing, believed killed in action. His father is Mr. A„ M. Ryan, Taihape. Sergeant Murray Swann, missing on air operations His father is Mr. D. A. Swann, Dunedin. Pilot-Officer Alan Stuart Wilson, injured. not seriously. His mother is Mrs. E. A. Wilson. Ashburton. Winsr-Commander Minden Vaughan Blake, D. 5.0.. D.F.C., Royal Air Force, previously reported missing, now reclassified as a nrisoner of war. His father is Mr. C. M. Blake, Christchurch. Pilot-Officer Thomas Tristram Fox, nreviouslv reported missinsr, believed killed, death now officially presumed. His mother is Mrs. M. A. Fox. Auckland. Sergeant John Anderson McPherson, previously reported missing, now rcblassified as missing, believed killed. His father is Mr. A. S. McPherson. Kaitaia. Sergeant James McQueen, previously reported missing, now reclassified ns a nrisoner of war. His father is Mr. D, W.- S. McQueen, Kennington. Southland. Sergeant Frank Thomas Newton, previously reported seriously ill. now removed from the seriously ill list. His mother is Mrs. A. Newton, Lake Wnitaki.
