Si r —Why not an independent Government? The usual nominations may be received in each electorate irrespective of number, providing tht usual guarantee per candidate is fulfilled. This method .should enable the most level-headed persons to represent the people irrespective of social class or party tie. The . Premier 01 chairman can then be elected from nominations received when the House resumes. The same procedure coulc operate to elect War Cabinets, Ministers, committees, etc. An independent Government does away with al yes-no party politics, and in m> opinion would p.ot be so able to flow the, laws of the country and cause antagonism and kill unity which' 1 fear has not existed for the'piast 5( years.
