American pilots are doing their part in the defence of -Malta. In a letter to Mr. Jarvis Rice, General Electric radio commentator, a Maltese, Mr. Joseph Feriech. referring to a recent raid in which 101 enemy planes v.-rve knocked down or damaged over the Mediterranean fortress in 72 hours, said: “The Axis planes certainly got the worst shock of their lives.
