FARMERS’ FREEZING CO.
. The accounts of the Auckland Farmers Freezing Company, Limited, for the. year ended June 30 show a net profit of £l„.o04, compared with £21,171 in.the previous year and £28.910 in 1940. The balance brought forward was £4504, giving a total of £20,008. From this the directors recommend a dividend of 51 per cent, compared with 0 per cent in previous years. This will absorb £15,142, leaving £4860 to be carried forward. The report states that the smaller profit, rising costs and uncertain conditions have made a reduction in dividend advisable.
