PERSONAL
Major Jean Bennett, of the Salvation Army, has arrived at Wairoa, to carry on the army's work. She was the principal speaker at a memorial service held at the Methodist Church in Sunday in regard to Brigadier Annie Smyth and her sister, Miss Rosamond Smyth, into whose deaths the police are still making inquiries.
