MEXICAN TRIBUTE MARTYRED CZECHS (British Official Wireless.) (2.40 p.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 30 The small Mexican town of San Jeronino, near Mexico City, to-day was rechristened Lidice in honour of the martyred Chechoslovakian village. The ceremony was attended by high Government officials and messages were received from Mr. H. A. Wallace, vice-President of the United States, and from Dr. Benes, the Czech President.
