. Sir,- —The two political parties of the day have achieved, some measure of Unity for the duration of the war, but this is evidently not sufficient for the political snipers .who are at work once more. . Their motive is obvious; otherwise, why pick .on Mr. Nash, for his optimistic remarks about Egypt ~and Russia? Why not select Mr. Churchill, who has. stated “great. events, are afoot,” suggested that “important decisions are imminent,” and hinted of forthcoming “great and decisive events.” Surely such remarks are sufficient for.. . any Britisher, UNITE- FOR VICTORS ■
