South African Veteran.

The funeral of .the ■ late Mr. W, Morris,, a South African war veteran, was held to-day and was attended by a large number of those who also served in the Boer War. The services at Cochrane’d private chapel and at the graveside were conducted by the Rev. R. C. Aires. Four of the pall-bearers were Boer War veterans. Messrs. W. Taylor, F. Higgs. F. Parker and L. Seymour.
