Only one men's hockey mutch was played in Gisborne on Saturday, hut the women’s name's were played as usual. Kla Toa beat Waituhi 3—l. This win was a notable one as it was the first time this season that Waituhi had been beaten in competition matches. Y.M.P. beat Kia Toa Bby 5—2. The men’s pme resulted in a win for High School by 3—l. A former Poverty Bay representative, Dick Richardson, who rereturned recently from overseas, turned out for Caledonian and played his usual bright game. .
