Meningitis Cases

Three children suffering from spinal meningitis died in the New Plymouth hospital district within the past week. One lived near Inglewood: another at New Plymouth, and the third ip the coastal district. Dr. J. H. Blakelock. district medical officer of health, said there was no need for undue alarm. Notification of five positive cases have been received in the Auckland health district since August 21.
