BICYCLE TYRE CARE
Steps to ensure that great care is exercised in keeping bicycle tyres inflated hard have been taken by several Auckland business houses who employ boys as cycle messengers or for light deliveries. Boys are being impressed that the greatest cause of tyre failure is not the wearing out of the tread, but the breaking-up of the interior linen fabric, due to undue flexing when a tyre is allowed to becorile soft.
