50 PER CENT INCREASE
SCOTCH WHISKY PRICE (Reed. Jan. 12, 10 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 11l The Scottish Distillers’ Association has recommended an increase of 50 per cent in the selling price of this year's Scotch whisky. A total of 3,000,000 gallons will be distilled in 1942 compared with 10,000,000 gallons in peace time.
