Red Cross First Aid Classes
In common -with many, other organisations the 'first-aid classes-of the Gisborne- centre of the Red Cross Society hfd decided to go into recess ditring January. -In viewy however,of the menace to New Zealand s-safety find in response to numerous requests; first aid instruction for 1942 will be recommenced immediately. The open-ing-classes will be held at the Red Cross rooms,. Central School, Derby street, next Monday, commencing at 7,45 p.m.. These classes are open to all .sections .of .the community, yourig and old. Full instruction is given by means of lectures "by members of the medical ' profession, _ and by practical bandage and splint work finder expert male and'demale instructors. Already a'-large -number of new enrolments has bepn, received, and judging by. present indications .the Red Cross first aid classes this year will constitute a record in membership.. . . J,r. in. -
