LABOUR CONFERENCE

CABINET & PARTY CHIEFS FEDERATION COUNCIL (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, and all members of the Cabinet conferred yesterday morning in the Labour Party caucus room of Parliament House with the council of .the Federation of Labour and the executive of the Labour Party. The conference lasted from 10.30 a.m. till shortly after 1 p.m. and continued in the afternoon. When the conference adjourned, the Prime Minister stated it had been discussing various matters in connection with the war effort and others arising from the war, conditions. The conference will resume this morning.
