PERJURY ALLEGED
ARREST OF NAZI BUND SECRETARY (Klup. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) tßecd. Dec. 30, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 28. The German-American Bund.secretary, James Wheeler Hill, was arrested on three counts of perjury, one of which is based on evidence at the trial of the bund leader, Fritz Kuhn. The information specifies 15 allegations of perjury. The trial will be held on January 29.
At Kuhn's trial early in December, Kuhn was sentenced to imprisonment for thefts ol' money totalling 1217 dollars. The judge recommended that action should be taken against the Bund secretary and the economic director, Willy Lueatke, for “deliberate perjury.”
