JAPAN AND BALKANS
HOPES FOR TRADE MINISTER AT SOFIA (Reed. Dec. 30, 9 a.m.) SOFIA, Dec. 28. Japan has established diplomatic relations with Bulgaria. The Minister, Mr. Teruo Hachiyo, former counsellor at Warsaw, has presented his credentials to King Boris.
The Legation will be the centre of Japanese activity in the Balkans, where it is hoped to extend trade.
