SWISS ARMY CALL-UP
NEW CORPS FORMING BUILDING DEFENCES (Reed. Dec. 30, 9 a.m.) BERNE, Dec. 29. The Swiss Commander-in-Chief, General Guisan, has ordered the creation of a fourth army corps of between 80,000 and 100,000 strong, with the object of building up the defences before the spring tha\v. Thousands of men who hitherto have been exempted are being again examined for service, while blinded persons are being incorporated as antiaircraft listeners.
