SPYING ALLEGED
GERMAN PROPAGANDIST PHOTOS OF U.S. PLANTS (Reed. Dec. 30, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 28. The Dies Committee which is investigating activities against America, announced that Dr. Colin Ross, German propagandist of Scottish descent, recently toured the United States in an automobile equipped with cinema apparatus with which he photographed specialised industrial plants. It is alleged that his activities “apppeared to come under the category of espionage.”
