Payment For Wool
Payments on Wanganui wool clips submitted for the first appraisement under wartime conditions were made on Thursday, and for about 23.000 bales a total of about £400,000 was distributed. The payment represents 95 per cent of the total due, the remainder being held by the Government for future dispersal.
