INVADERS’ HEAVY LOSS ESTIMATE OF 100,000 (Reed. Dec. 29, 9 a.m.) CHUNGKING, Dec. 27. The Chinese Government announced that the launching of simultaneous Chinese attacks on all fronts cost the Japanese 100,000 castualties between December 1 and 25, including 43,800 killed. The spokesman stated that a major drive to disrupt the Japanese communications had not yet started. He added that attacks on the Yangtse River during the year resulted in an average loss of two Japanese ships weekly.
