FELL FROM HOTEL
MAN CRITICALLY INJURED RECENTLY LEFT HOSPITAL Discharged on Tuesday from the Memorial .Hospital, Hastings, where he had been treated for minor injuries received in a motor collision on Sunday, a 24-year-old Hastings man, Gordon Hesketh, was admitted again in the early hours of Wednesday morning in a critical condition alter he had fallen to the lootpath from a second-floor window if the Carlton Club Hotel. It is not known what led to the accident, which was witnessed by a night watchman, Mr. Alex. Ferguson, who was standing at a corner -omc distance away. Mr. Ileskelh ,vas staving at the hotel and was clad hi his pyjamas at 'he time of his fail. The window through which he fell was that opening into his bed room. The police were immediately sumno red by Mr. Fcrgusson, and the hijured man was taken to hoso't.al, "hore it was found that he had received fractures of both legs, several broken ribs and abdominal injuries.
