ATTACKS ON U-BOATS

FRENCH SUCCESSES WARSHIPS AND PLANES (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 3 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 27. A French official communique states that during the last three weeks two , enemy submarines have been successfully attacked by French patrol ships, one of them by the sloop Commandant Duboc and the other by the.destroyers Sirocco and La Raillicuie operating in conjunction with a naval plane. This means that, within less than a month three submarines have been accounted for by the Sirocco.
