MAN WHO “CONFESSED” TRIAL MAY BE DROPPED LONDON, Dec. 20. Although the Nazis said that George Elscr had “confessed" to placing the bomb in the Munich beer hall which caused the fatal explosion, it is now reported from Germany that the trial may be dropped for want of evidence. The explosion, which killed several people, occurred on November 7. soon after Herr Hitler had left the hall.
